We’re delighted to announce that Andy Robinson has joined the PERMABOUND team as an Account Manager. Andy brings with him a wealth of experience, industry knowledge, and a strong track record of building lasting customer relationships.
Andy told us: “I’m really pleased to be joining PERMABOUND at such an exciting time for the business. The quality of the products and the reputation in the industry really stood out to me, and I’m looking forward to building strong relationships with customers and supporting the continued growth of the brand.”
In his new role, Andy will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with both existing and new customers. He will also take a proactive approach to expanding the PERMABOUND network of stockists across the UK and internationally, supporting our continued growth in both established and emerging markets.
Andy will act as a key point of contact for incoming enquiries, ensuring a high level of service while identifying opportunities to grow accounts and strengthen our customer base.
Andy joins us with extensive experience in sales, having built a long and successful career across multiple industries, whilst also having run his own business for over a decade.
Most recently, Andy worked in the grinding wheel industry, where he was responsible for supplying products on an international scale. This global experience brings valuable insight to PERMABOUND as we continue to grow our international presence.
We’re proud to have Andy as part of the PERMABOUND team and look forward to seeing the impact he has on the company!
Outside of work, Andy is a family man. He has been married for over 30 years and has three grown-up children, and became a grandad for the first time at the end of 2024! He says his one-year-old grandson running rings around him “keeps him young”.
Andy is also a lifelong Sheffield Wednesday fan, having enjoyed some very memorable moments supporting the club – watching Pelé play at Hillsborough in 1972 to European nights in the 1990s.
