PERMABOUND is proud to continue our sponsorship of Sheffield RUFC for the 2026/27 season, building on our relationship with the club as they compete in National One for the first time.
Our partnership with Sheffield RUFC began last season, with the PERMABOUND name appearing on the sleeve of the club’s playing shirts and sponsoring player Chris Hooper during their historic title-winning campaign last season.
We’re pleased to have expanded our involvement with the club for the new campaign, as the club takes on its first season in National One, the third tier of English rugby.
For 2026/27, PERMABOUND will feature as:
PERMABOUND is continuing its presence on Sheffield RUFC’s playing kit for the 2026/27 season, with our branding again featuring on the shirt sleeve. This season, our kit sponsorship has also increased, with PERMABOUND becoming the main sponsor of the club’s rain training top.
Together, the shirt sleeve and rain top sponsorships give PERMABOUND a prominent presence across both matchdays and training, strengthening our association with the club throughout the season.
We’re also delighted to continue our individual sponsorship of Sheffield player Chris Hooper for a second consecutive season.
Chris enjoyed an outstanding 2025/26 campaign, finishing as the league’s top try scorer with 34 tries in 23 appearances. The second season in a row that he had claimed the league’s top try scorer award!
The 2026/27 campaign represents another significant chapter for Sheffield RUFC as the club competes in National One for the first time.
Following promotion, Sheffield will face clubs from across the country in the 3rd tier of English club rugby, and we’re looking forward to following their progress throughout the season.
